UPDATE 5:00PM EDT: Servers are coming back online. If you are still experiencing issues, you may be in the queue for restoration of services. We will continue to monitor the situation and update as needed.

UPDATE 4:21PM EDT:  We have identified the reason behind the network disruption in our datacenter which is affecting some of our Customers servers. We are working to repair the issue now. No ETA yet. Please watch this space for further updates.

We have been notified of a critical network issue in our Datacenter. We are investigating. We will update status when we have more information.

UPDATE: (10:24AM EDT) - A team is on site now.  The issues are weather related. We will update this status when we have more information.

UPDATE: (12:00PM EDT) - Damage report is still underway. We do not have an ETA at this time. We will continue to update the progress here. 

UPDATE: (4:15PM EDT) - The current status of the server shows a cable line may be cut or out due to inclement weather in our New York datacenter.  Our Tier 2 team continue to work on this issue, which is affecting several of the servers across the network. We will continue to monitor the status for news and will update this report when we have more information.

UPDATE: (6:15PM EDT) The issues with connectivity have been resolved for this server. No further issues reported at this time.

We have been notified there is a worldwide outage situation at the main email delivery servers. This is having an effect for mail deliveries (i.e: millions of people having mail issues). It is intermittent as well.

We are closely monitoring this situation, and hope to have more information soon.

UPDATE : We have received word this issue is resolved. Emails that should have delivered should show up or have bounced back to the sender, asking them to try again.

Between the dates of November 13th, 2019 and November 16th, 2019, we are scheduling a server move. Due to hardware changes and updates, this is a critical move and needs to be completed within this timeframe.

To find out if you may be affected, you can check the following...

Login to your customer panel, click on 'Services'.
Click on the word 'Active' next to your hosting subscription (this mainly affects taxPRO, Managed Wordpress and some Linux accounts)
On the left hand menu, look for 'Login to Cpanel' and click

Once you log in, look to the right hand side and find 'Shared IP Address' - If it says, then your site and email may experience an outage.

Right now, we are expecting a 1 to 2 hour outage as we complete this move.

We show there are website slowdowns and outages as well as delays for email being delivered to our CPAN4 and CPAN5 server. This issue is under investigation. Please know that we are attempting to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Until the end of December, you may notice slowdowns in your dashboard training area for your Tax Pro site. We are currently upgrading these files to include new changes and adjustments to the way you edit your Tax Pro.

Starting in January will come the sweeping changes for Tax Rates, Forms tools, etc. So, bear with us as these latest updates take place before the beginning of the new tax year.

1:52PM EST: The RAID array (har drives) in the server has suffered a complete failure. We are now restoring server data from backups. We have no ETA when this will complete but will provide updates as the operation progresses.

5:25PM EST: Sites have been slowly returning. We're in touch with our hardware providers to make sure there are no further problems. We will continue to update the process.

8:16PM EST:  Server issues are resolving. Moved from CRITICAL to HIGH. We will keep this notice here until Tuesday, 12/12. If you are still experiencing site issues, please open a ticket.

UPDATE 11/27 - 4:50PM EDT:  We are starting to see email flow again. There may be random issues. We suggest waiting 15-30 minutes and try again if an email is returned. We are also investigating email sending that says the email is "blocked". These are being reported as false positives, and the hope is we can rectify these soon.

Update 5:00 PM EDT 11/27/17: We are glad to report that all mail issues have been resolved. Mail delivery has returned to normal, and is still be watched carefully.

Wordpress Update 4.9 (Resolved) High

The latest version of Wordpress has been released. There have been major changes within the software. Please do not update if you are using our Tax Pro or Managed services. We are in testing and will update when we feel the software is stable.

If you have installed Wordpress yourself, we suggest making a backup before applying the latest update.

We are currently aware of a known issue with several Wordpress websites receiving a 404. We are investigating and repairing as we find the problems.


SSL's are just about complete. These upgrades should not affect any sites by opening...
Wordpress update fixes underway.

Several major updates...

1. A new release for SSL's is underway. These will enhance security for your websites, and add some extra layers of use for your email services. Some sites are taking time to come back from this update. We expect services to be back to normal by start of business Friday EDT.

2. The latest release of Wordpress has been released. Please make sure not to do this update on your own, as there may be some lingering issues. Some reports of sites being updated has caused some outages. Be very careful when you see updates, as we will manage these for you.
